This is the first entry of my dressing series, where I will be sharing 4 of my favorite (and most frequently used) dressing recipes over the coming days. I use these dressings for pasta, salad, grain bowls/buddha bowls, or noodle salads. They are all a little spicy since I LOVE spicy food, but if you don’t like spicy food then just leave the spicy ingredients out.
PANTRY STAPLES FOR GOOD & HEALTHY DRESSING:
- Tahini
- Gochujang
- Korean hot pepper paste. This is what brings the heat to the dressings. I HIGHLY recommend you get yourself some. You can find it at any big grocer like Wegman’s or Whole Foods, but you can also get it online or at any Asian grocer (will prob be the cheapest! H Mart is the biggest Korean market I know of).
- You can replace this with other hot sauce or chili garlic sauce if you want, but please… introduce gochujang in your life if you haven’t yet!
- Lemon
That’s really all you need to start. However, other condiments that are probably already in your fridge– think mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce, vinegar, and soy sauce– will also come in handy.
The dressing I’m sharing with you today is definitely my go-to since I almost always have the ingredients on hand, it’s easy, and it’s delicious.
