#6: NYC Marathon Recap

I’m so excited to share my full recap of the NYC marathon with you!

At around 45 minutes, this one’s a bit longer than my normal episodes, but I wanted to really take the time to fully share my memories, emotions, and thoughts.

My first marathon was truly an incredible experience. It was a mix of everything– energizing, painful, joyful, exhausting, humbling, meditative, challenging, happy, and the most difficult thing I’ve ever done in my life.

I honestly did not think I would struggle as much as I did. This marathon got me. It snuck up on me, tested me, and swallowed me whole. I crossed the finish line weak and trembling, yet simultaneously strong and fulfilled.

I hope you enjoy my recap, and please remember to subscribe to the podcast on iTunes! Rating & reviewing is always much appreciated as well.
